CONTRACTED METER READER WANTED

For Meter North LTD – on behalf of ESB Networks

Location: Connemara and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Contracted / Self-employed basis
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: Per meter read (competitive rate)

About the Role: Meter North LTD is seeking reliable, hard-working individuals to carry out electricity meter readings on behalf of ESB Networks. This is a field-based role, ideal for those who enjoy working independently and outdoors in all weather conditions.Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Duties:

  • Accurately record electricity meter readings at customer premises

  • Work is conducted using a handheld device or app

  • Report inaccessible meters or safety concerns

  • Work in a professional and courteous manner

  • Comply with all  safety and data procedures.

         Requirements:

  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle

  • Good attention to detail and time management

  • Basic proficiency with smartphones or handheld devices

  • Ability to work independently and reliably

  • Fluent English (Irish is a bonus)

  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain)
